  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  5. Gradually add the milk, whisking continuously until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
  6. Add the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and stir until melted and well combined.
  7. Add the cooked macaroni and turkey bacon to the cheese sauce, mixing well.
  8. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
