  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add honey and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts and pistachios.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before filling with cream cheese mixture.
  10. For the filling, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  11. Spread the cream cheese filling between two cookies to create a sandwich.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sprinkle some crushed nuts on the filling before adding the top cookie.
  • Make sure the cookies are completely cool before adding the filling to prevent it from melting.
