- 6 jalapeno peppers, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- In a bowl, combine the sliced jalapenos and onion.
- In a saucepan, mix sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard seeds, celery seeds, and turmeric. Bring to a boil.
- Pour the hot mixture over the jalapenos and onions.
- Let it cool, then transfer to jars and refrigerate.
- Allow pickles to sit for at least 24 hours before enjoying.
Notes
- For a milder flavor, remove the seeds from the jalapenos.
