Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

A delightful twist on a classic dish, combining the creaminess of cheesy scalloped potatoes with the savory goodness of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and thinly slice the potatoes.
  3. In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by half of the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  4. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the layer.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, turkey bacon, chicken ham, and cheese.
  6. In a bowl, combine the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the layers in the baking dish.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some chopped chives or green onions on top before serving.
