  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Ketchup as desired
  • Mustard as desired

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Add in the chopped onion and green bell pepper, cooking until soft.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Divide the beef mixture into four portions and place a slice of cheese on top of each.
  5. Cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
  6. Remove the portions and place them in hoagie rolls.
  7. Add ketchup and mustard as desired.
