Classic Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa

This Classic Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa is a comforting and delicious dish that is perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen pierogi
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add half of the kielbasa, cheese, and onions.
  3. Spread half of the sauerkraut over the top.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour chicken broth over the top.
  6. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, add sour cream before serving.
  • This dish can be customized with additional vegetables.
