- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups crushed cookies (like Oreo)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the creamed mixture.
- Fold in the crushed cookies and chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
