Crème Brûlée French Toast

A delicious take on French toast, featuring the creamy goodness of crème brûlée paired with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 1 loaf brioche bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 4 slices chicken ham

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, and salt.
  2. Slice the brioche bread into thick slices and soak them in the mixture for 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the soaked bread until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the turkey bacon in another pan until crispy.
  5. Plate the French toast, top with chicken ham, and sprinkle with extra sugar for caramelization.
  6. Using a kitchen torch, carefully brûlée the sugar on top of the toast until melted and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Feel free to add fresh berries on top for added flavor.
