  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a richer chocolate flavor, add more chocolate chips or use dark chocolate chips.
