Easy Boursin Mac and Cheese

A creamy and delicious mac and cheese recipe enhanced with the rich flavors of Boursin cheese and crispy turkey bacon.

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 4 ounces Boursin cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour to form a roux.
  4. Gradually add milk, stirring frequently until thickened.
  5. Stir in Boursin cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Add macaroni and turkey bacon, mixing well.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
