Easy English Pea Salad

A refreshing and easy-to-make English pea salad complemented by turkey bacon and a creamy dressing.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups English peas, fresh or frozen
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the English peas, crumbled turkey bacon, red onion, and fresh dill.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon for a richer flavor.
  • This salad can be made a day in advance for better flavor melding.
