- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup additional unsalted butter, for brushing
- In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
