  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup additional unsalted butter, for brushing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and shape it into rolls. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. In a small pan, melt additional butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Brush the garlic butter over the rolls.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, brush with more garlic butter, and sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add cheese to the rolls before baking.
