- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 6 ounces turkey bacon
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground turkey and turkey bacon until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread a layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer lasagna noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of meat sauce and mozzarella on top.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped spinach or other vegetables to the ricotta mixture.
- Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing.
