Easy Mango Sago (Dessert Pudding)

  • 2 cups mango puree
  • 1 cup tapioca pearls
  • 1 can (400 ml) coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mango for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring the water to a boil, then add the tapioca pearls.
  2. Cook the tapioca pearls for about 15 minutes or until they become translucent, stirring occasionally.
  3. Drain the pearls and rinse them under cold water.
  4. In a bowl, mix the mango puree, coconut milk, and sugar until well combined.
  5. Add the drained tapioca pearls to the mango mixture and stir gently.
  6. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  7. Serve in bowls, topped with chopped fresh mango.

Notes

  • For more flavor, add a squeeze of lime juice to the mango mixture.
  • To achieve a creamier texture, adjust the amount of coconut milk.
