  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lay the flank steak flat and pound it to an even thickness.
  3. Spread caramelized onions over the steak, followed by turkey bacon and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Roll the steak tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pinwheels on all sides.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
