Garlic Butter Steak and Creamy Alfredo Fettuccine

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook fettuccine according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the steaks with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet.
  4. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked to your preference.
  5. Add garlic, rosemary, thyme, and butter to the skillet during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  6. Remove steaks and let them rest.
  7. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  9. Drain fettuccine and toss with the Alfredo sauce.
  10. Slice the steak and serve over the pasta, drizzled with the garlic butter sauce.
