Garlic Parmesan Creamed Corn on the Cob

A creamy, cheesy, and flavorful dish that brings a twist to traditional corn on the cob.

Ingredients

  • 4 ears of corn
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Husk the corn and remove the silk.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the corn. Boil for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  3. In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  5. Remove the corn from the pot and place it in the cheese sauce, coating evenly.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
