  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the brewed coffee.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour half the batter into a greased cake pan.
  8. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
  9. Top with the remaining batter and finish with the remaining caramel sauce.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Allow to cool before serving.
