  • 500g mascarpone cheese
  • 300ml strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 100ml coffee liqueur
  • 200g ladyfinger biscuits

  • 50g dark chocolate, grated

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  2. Fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur.
  4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and layer them in a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle grated chocolate on top.
