Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, feta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and form the mixture into patties.
  3. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through.
  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute.
  6. Assemble the burgers with spinach and tomato slices.
