  • 1 box honey bun cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, sour cream, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Once cooled, poke holes in the cake with a fork and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  5. Spread whipped topping over the cake and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to let the flavors meld.
