- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in the eggs, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and brown the chicken on both sides.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Spread marinara sauce over each piece of chicken and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
