  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, sift together almond flour and powdered sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites gently.
  5. Pipe the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Let the piped macarons sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, then let cool.
  8. For the filling, whip the butter and cream together until fluffy, then add vanilla.
  9. Sandwich the filling between two macaron shells.
