Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh spinach
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Wash and blanch the spinach in boiling water for 1-2 minutes until wilted.
  2. Drain and immediately transfer to a bowl of ice water to cool.
  3. Squeeze out excess water from the cooled spinach.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the spinach, minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, and salt. Toss well to combine.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can include a dash of chili flakes.
