  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey and turkey bacon over medium heat until browned.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish. Place three noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by half of the turkey mixture and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of noodles topped with marinara sauce and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add your favorite vegetables such as spinach or mushrooms to the layers.
