- 1 pound dried navy beans
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook beans according to package instructions until tender.
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy.
- Add onions and sauté until translucent.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked beans, bacon mixture, maple syrup, mustard, ketchup, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes, removing the foil for the last 15 minutes to brown the top.
