  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, egg, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Scoop spoonfuls of the potato mixture and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
  5. Fry until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm.
