Mediterranean Ground Beef Flatbread with Garlic Hot Honey Feta Cream

A delicious and easy recipe for Mediterranean ground beef flatbread topped with garlic hot honey feta cream.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 4 pieces flatbread
  • 1 cup feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cumin to the beef. Stir well.
  4. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet and evenly distribute the beef mixture on top of each.
  5. In a bowl, combine crumbled feta, honey, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes to make the feta cream.
  6. Spoon the feta cream on top of the beef on each flatbread.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of honey for your desired sweetness.
  • Can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
