  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in chopped chocolate and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  9. Let them cool for a minute before transferring to a wire rack.
