- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg (beaten)
- In a small bowl, combine yeast and warm milk; let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add pumpkin, butter, egg, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients; mix until dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread with melted butter; sprinkle with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon.
