  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • ½ cup red food coloring
  • ½ cup white frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Divide the batter in half and tint one half with red food coloring.
  5. Spoon the batter into the liners, alternating between red and white batter to create a swirled effect.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
