- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp red food coloring
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and red food coloring.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter, then swirl with a knife.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top and swirl again.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
