Roulés façon pain perdu

Indulge in these delicious chicken ham rolls, reminiscent of the classic pain perdu.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flatten the chicken breasts using a meat mallet.
  3. Spread mustard on each chicken breast.
  4. Place a slice of ham and cheese on top of each.
  5. Roll up the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Dip each roll in a mixture of beaten eggs and milk, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
