  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of a tart pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  4. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cream, corn syrup, and salt; bring to a boil.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped chocolate and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled crust and chill until set.
  7. Serve chilled, topped with additional sea salt if desired.

Notes
