Seafood Fried Rice – A Savory Mix of Shrimp, Crab & Veggies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in shrimp and crab, cooking until shrimp turns pink.
  4. Push the seafood to one side, add beaten eggs, and scramble.
  5. Add mixed vegetables and cooked rice, stir to combine.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add green onions just before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, consider adding chili flakes.
  • Using day-old rice can improve texture.
