  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 12 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups spinach, fresh
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring to a simmer and add the broken lasagna noodles.
  5. Cook until the pasta is tender, about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Serve with a dollop of ricotta, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and grated Parmesan on top.
