  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup rice, uncooked

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, rice, onion, garlic, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Layer some cabbage leaves in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Scoop the meat mixture into the cabbage leaves and roll them up, placing them seam-side down in the slow cooker.
  4. Pour beef broth over the rolls and cover with remaining cabbage leaves.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the meat and rice are cooked through.
