Smoked Cajun Burgers

These Smoked Cajun Burgers combine juicy turkey with crispy bacon and a kick of Cajun spice, perfect for any backyard barbecue.

  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Form the mixture into patties.
  4. Place the patties in the smoker and cook for approximately 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each burger during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  6. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
