Deliciously soft fried buns filled with savory turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon
  • 1/2 pound chicken ham

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Cook turkey bacon in a pan until crispy, then chop.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut into rounds.
  7. Place chopped turkey bacon and chicken ham on each round, fold, and seal edges.
  8. Fry the buns in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cheese to the filling.
  • Serve with a side of dipping sauce for added taste.
