  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 package strawberry Jello
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool completely.
  4. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  6. In a separate bowl, dissolve Jello in boiling water, then stir in cold water. Let it cool slightly.
  7. Add sliced strawberries to the Jello mixture.
  8. Pour Jello mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
