  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 package strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs.
  3. Pour the mix into the baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Once baked, use the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes into the cake.
  5. Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water and stir in cold water.
  6. Pour the gelatin mixture over the cake, ensuring it fills the holes.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Top with whipped topping and fresh strawberries before serving.
