- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound cooked pasta
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into meatballs and place them in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs and bake for 25 minutes.
- In the meantime, cook the pasta according to package instructions and drain.
- Once the meatballs are done, mix them with the cooked pasta and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer the mixture back to the baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the pasta bake.
- For extra flavor, mix in some Italian herbs.
