  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, almond butter, maple syrup, coconut sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, mix the almond flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, replace almond butter with sunflower seed butter.
