  • 1 cup diced turkey bacon
  • 2 cups napa cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms and napa cabbage, cooking until tender.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add cooked turkey bacon and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • This soup can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
