Thai Glass Noodle Stir Fry Pad Woon Sen

A quick and tasty Thai Glass Noodle Stir Fry recipe that is both satisfying and easy to prepare.

  • 200 grams glass noodles
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 100 grams bell peppers, sliced
  • 100 grams bean sprouts
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Soak the glass noodles in hot water for about 10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the julienned carrot and sliced bell peppers; cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the drained glass noodles and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. Mix in the bean sprouts and green onions, followed by soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and pepper. Stir everything well to combine.
  7. Cook for another minute or until everything is heated through. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra protein, you can add chicken, shrimp, or tofu.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables of your choice.
