Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in the pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
