  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 packet spring roll wrappers
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, and green onions.
  2. Add soy sauce and sesame oil to the mixture, and stir well.
  3. Lay out a spring roll wrapper and place a spoonful of filling on it.
  4. Fold the sides over the filling and roll it tightly.
  5. Dissolve cornstarch in water to create a paste and use it to seal the edges of the roll.
  6. Repeat until all the filling is used.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and fry the spring rolls until golden brown.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add chili flakes to the filling.
  • These spring rolls can be baked for a healthier option.
