Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Skillet

A delicious, easy to prepare Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Skillet that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the sliced sausage and cook until browned.
  4. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning.
  5. Cook until shrimp is pink and opaque.
  6. Stir in the diced tomatoes and heat through.
  7. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
