Creamy Slow Cooker Chicken Turkey Bacon and Broccoli Cheddar Soup

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, add the chicken breast, turkey bacon, broccoli, onion, and garlic.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, shred the chicken and stir in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese.
  5. Allow the cheese to melt and serve hot.
