This Crockpot Barbecue Chicken Mac and Cheese is an easy and delicious comfort food dish that combines tender chicken, creamy cheese, and barbecue sauce for a delightful meal.

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and cover with barbecue sauce. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to mix with barbecue sauce.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  4. Add the cooked macaroni to the crockpot along with shredded cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  5. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and creamy.
